TIRANA: Azerbaijani female wrestler Jala Aliyeva has secured a significant victory, winning the title in the U23 World Championships 2024 held in Tirana, Albania. Aliyeva’s triumph marks a pivotal moment in her wrestling career as she showcased exceptional skill in the competition.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Aliyeva delivered a standout performance in the 57kg weight final, where she faced Japanese competitor Ruka Natami. Aliyeva’s decisive victory was highlighted by her execution of a powerful kick, which ultimately secured her the championship title.
