Riyadh: Azerbaijani female wrestler Elnura Mammadova clinched a bronze medal at the VI Islamic Solidarity Games, currently being held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Competing in the 50 kg weight category, Mammadova showcased her wrestling prowess in a decisive bout against Algeria’s Chebila Cheima.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Mammadova emerged victorious with a score of 5:0, securing third place in the Greco-Roman wrestling competition. Her win adds to Azerbaijan’s achievements at the prestigious event, highlighting the country’s strength in the sport.
