Boston: As part of their visit to the United States, officials from Azerbaijan's State Committee on Work with Diaspora met with a group of Azerbaijani students and young professionals in Boston. The meeting aimed to strengthen connections between Azerbaijani youth studying abroad and their homeland.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the event was organized by the newly established Azerbaijani Student Society at Harvard University. It drew participation from students attending Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Boston University, Northwestern University, and Suffolk University.
During the gathering, discussions centered around initiatives designed to connect Azerbaijani youth with compatriots living abroad. Emphasis was placed on programs such as Diaspora Youth Summer Camps, forums, and the 'Diaspora Youth 1+1' initiative.
Students at the meeting shared their experiences both academically and socially, and highlighted various initiatives they had undertaken at their respective universities. They extended an invitation to all Azerbaijani youth to engage in future collaborative activities, aiming to foster a strong sense of community and support among Azerbaijani students globally.
