Azerbaijan’s Academy and China’s CPC Central Committee Party School Sign Cooperation MoU

Beijing: The Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation. The agreement was formalized by Xie Chuntao, First Vice President of the Party School of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and Academician Urkhan Alakbarov, Rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the signing ceremony was preceded by a meeting between a delegation led by Tahir Budagov, New Azerbaijan Party (YAP) Deputy Chairman and Head of the Central Office, and Xie Chuntao, who is a Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee and Minister. The discussions held in Beijing provided a platform for the two parties to express their confidence in the memorandum's potential to foster advancements in public administration, strategic planning, and personnel training through shared experiences and mutual interests.

During the meeting, the leaders highlighted the effective policies implemented by Azerbaijan and China, which have strengthened bilateral relations across various sectors. Furthermore, the New Azerbaijan Party delegation took the opportunity to visit the Chinese Archaeological Museum, enriching their understanding of China's historical and cultural landscape.

The delegation also engaged in discussions with Zhao Rui, Vice President of the Academy of Social Sciences, focusing on the integration of digitalization and artificial intelligence in research, protection of historical heritage, exchange of scientific publications, and the initiation of joint projects. These discussions emphasized the importance of establishing direct contacts between scientists and researchers from both nations.

In addition to their formal engagements, the Azerbaijani delegation visited the Confucius Temple, further exploring China's cultural heritage.
