Baku: Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) discovered a total of 98 landmines and 224 unexploded ordnance (UXO) in the recently liberated territories during the week of April 7, 2025, to April 13, 2025.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the demining operations were carried out in various regions, including Tartar, Aghdam, Aghdara, Lachin, Fuzuli, Shusha, Khojaly, Khankendi, Kalbajar, Khojavend, Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan. The mines detected comprised 86 anti-personnel mines and 12 anti-tank mines.

In total, 1,245.5 hectares of land were successfully cleared of mines and UXOs, contributing to the ongoing efforts to ensure safety and facilitate the return of residents to these areas.
