Baku: Trkiye’s greatest holiday, Republic Day, has been celebrated in Baku today, Trend reports. The event took place at the Heydar Aliyev Center and was graced by high-ranking officials, including representatives of the state and government of Azerbaijan, the Chairperson of the Azerbaijani Parliament Sahiba Gafarova, deputies, ambassadors, representatives of international organizations, and other invited guests.

According to Trend News Agency, the celebration commenced with the national anthems of Azerbaijan and Trkiye, setting a patriotic tone for the gathering. A video message from Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan was also presented, highlighting the significance of the day. Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Jahit Bagci spoke about the country’s journey to independence and the robust relations shared between Azerbaijan and Trkiye.

The ambassador emphasized the unique brotherly ties between the two nations, quoting Turkish President Erdogan’s assertion that Trkiye will always stand by Azerbaijan. Jah

Following this, Speaker Sahiba Gafarova delivered a speech where she conveyed the congratulations of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev. She highlighted Trkiye’s steady development and its progressive journey forward, underscoring the significance of the Republic Day celebration in strengthening bilateral ties.
