Baku: Azerbaijan’s banking sector experienced a notable increase in its total assets, reaching 56,549.7 million manats as of June 1, marking a 3.6% rise from the previous month.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) reported that during the same period, the sector’s total liabilities grew by 4.3%, totaling 49,690.3 million manats. The balance capital of the sector was recorded at 6,859.5 million manats.
