BAKU: Azerbaijan’s carbon dioxide production from oil fields registered a slight decline in the first nine months of this year, with total output reaching 11,141.57 million cubic meters, reflecting a 1.44% decrease compared to the previous year. The State Statistics Committee provided these figures to APA-Economics.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, of the carbon dioxide produced from January through September, 2,748.61 million cubic meters were designated as commodity products, marking a 1.9% increase from the same period last year. This contrasts with the 2023 full-year production figures, where a total of 15,085.96 million cubic meters were produced, representing a 2.2% year-on-year decrease.

The report further highlights that in the previous year, 3,565.2 million cubic meters of carbon dioxide were classified as commodity products, which was 15.75% lower than the preceding year. The data reflects ongoing adjustments in Azerbaijan’s carbon dioxide production metrics amid fluctuating output levels fro
