Baku: Tarlan Rasulov, Executive General of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), met with a Malaysian delegation led by Dato’ Ku Jaafar Ku Shaari, Chairman of the Al-Hidayah Group. The meeting focused on the development of Islamic finance, exploring ways to expand the range of products in this sector, and fostering institutional cooperation between the two parties.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussions also covered initiatives for developing Islamic banking. Both parties exchanged views on topics of mutual interest, particularly in the context of the ‘Strategy for the Development of the Financial Sector for 2024-2026’ adopted by the Central Bank.
