Baku: Azerbaijan's cotton yarn exports have seen a significant increase in the first quarter of 2026. In the period from January to March, the country produced 4,691.32 tons of cotton yarn, marking a 2.3-fold increase compared to the same timeframe in the previous year.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the State Customs Committee reported that the exports of cotton yarn have doubled, reaching a total of $10.269 million. This is a substantial rise when compared to the exports from January to March 2025, when Azerbaijan exported 2,009.91 tons of cotton yarn, valued at $5.024 million.
