Azerbaijan’s Crude Oil Exports to Bulgaria Surge in First Seven Months of 2026

Baku: Azerbaijan exported 358,842.99 tonnes of crude oil to Bulgaria from January to July 2026, marking a significant 4.5-fold increase compared to the same period last year.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the increase in exports amounts to an additional 279,582.14 tonnes of crude oil. The value of these exports reached $253.114 million, representing a 5.2-fold increase, or $204.882 million more, compared to the previous year.

In the first seven months of this year, exports to Bulgaria accounted for 2.82 percent of Azerbaijan's total oil exports. The data underscores the growing energy cooperation between Azerbaijan and Bulgaria.
