Marrakech: Azerbaijan’s Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, who is on a working visit to Morocco at the invitation of Abdellatif Loudiyi, the Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of the National Defense Administration, attended the opening ceremony of the Marrakech Air Show 2024, as reported by the Ministry of Defense to AZERTAC. The event was marked by speeches from the Head of Government of the Kingdom of Morocco and other officials, with government representatives and international company delegates in attendance.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the ceremony was followed by a visit to the Marrakech Air Show 2024. Colonel General Zakir Hasanov viewed the exhibition that highlighted military aviation, global aeronautics, and space industry innovations, showcasing contributions from leading international companies.

The exhibition, which will continue until November 2, includes panel discussions that focus on technological advancements in the defense industry, the
development of sustainable strategies, enhancements in unmanned aerial vehicles, and other pertinent topics.
