Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Engages in Peace Talks with U.S. Diplomat

Baku: Azerbaijan's Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov recently held a meeting with David Allen, U.S. Charg© d'Affaires in Armenia, who is currently visiting Azerbaijan. The discussions focused on efforts to normalize relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, promote the peace process, and ensure long-term stability and security in the region.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting also covered the outcomes of Elnur Mammadov's visit to the United States, which was timed to mark the anniversary of the Washington Peace Summit. Discussions included the implementation of the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) and the establishment of the TRIPP Development Company, which is tasked with managing infrastructure projects related to the route.

Additionally, the parties evaluated the bilateral agenda between Azerbaijan and the United States and explored prospects for further cooperation under the Strategic Partnership Charter. Amy Carlon, U.S. Charg© d'Affaires in Azerbaijan, also attended the meeting.
