Baku:Yalchin Rafiyev, Azerbaijan's Deputy Foreign Minister, participated in several events during the second day of the UN High-Level Week.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Rafiyev expressed his support for the efforts of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Contact Group on Afghanistan. He highlighted Afghanistan's potential to become a connectivity hub through enhanced trade, transit, and energy cooperation.

During the Solutions Dialogue on Energy Transitions, Rafiyev discussed Azerbaijan's renewable energy targets, aiming to establish the country as a regional hub for clean energy. In the Solutions Dialogue on Climate Finance, he emphasized the need for climate finance to be more accessible, affordable, and effective for developing countries, advocating for stronger system-wide coordination to fulfill the Baku Finance Goal.

At the 7th Caspian Business Forum, Rafiyev participated in panel discussions on Connectivity, Finance, and Energy along the Middle Corridor. He highlighted Azerbaijan's major infrastructure development achievements, increasing transit and trade volumes, and the progress of the TRIPP initiative.
