Azerbaijan’s economy grew by 0,7% over previous year

In January-July of 2023, 70 billion 372,2 million manats worth of gross domestic product was produced in Azerbaijan, which is 0.7 percent more than the same period of the previous year, APA-Economics reports citing State Statistics Committee.

According to the Committee, added value in the oil-gas sector of the economy has increased by 2,2%, and also by 3,4% in the non-oil/gas sector.

42.8% of the GDP production fells on industry, 9.4% on trade; vehicle repair, 6.1% on transport and warehousing, 6.0% on agriculture, forestry, and fishing, 4.9% on construction, 2.3% on tourist accommodation and public catering, 1.6% on information and communication fields, 17.7% fell on other sectors, and net taxes on products and imports made up 9.2% of GDP.

GDP per capita amounted to 6938,8 manats.
