Baku: Azerbaijan's Economy Minister, Mikayil Jabbarov, met with Ricardo Hausmann, founder and Director of Harvard's Growth Lab, to discuss the results of a three-year collaboration. Minister Jabbarov highlighted Azerbaijan's focus on economic diversification, particularly in the development of the non-oil and gas sectors, and initiatives aimed at fostering sustainable economic growth. He stressed the significance of extending cooperation with the Growth Lab to base economic reforms on scientific insights.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting involved a review of the outcomes from the three-year research collaboration between the Government of Azerbaijan and the Growth Lab. Discussions included the implementation of the Growth Lab's recommendations, assessing the work executed within this framework, and exploring the next steps for enhancing their partnership.
