Baku: Next year, Azerbaijan plans to allocate 4 billion AZN 985.8 million for education expenditures in its state budget. This allocation has been outlined in the Ministry of Finance’s “Statement on the initial indicators of the state and consolidated budgets of the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2026.”

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the specific share of education expenditures in the budget will constitute 12 percent. This marks a 1 percent increase in education expenditures compared to 2025, amounting to an additional AZN 48.5 million. In 2025, the state budget had earmarked AZN 4 billion 937.3 million for education expenditures.
