Azerbaijan’s Education Minister Highlights Global Competitiveness at QS Eurasia Forum

Tashkent: Azerbaijan’s Minister of Education Emin Amrullayev delivered a speech at the QS Eurasia Forum held in Tashkent, Republic of Uzbekistan. The event was organized by the global ranking agency Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) and hosted by the University of Central Asia, according to the Ministry of Science and Education.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Minister Amrullayev’s speech focused on the internationalization and scientific-research opportunities present in Azerbaijan. He detailed the measures being implemented to enhance the global competitiveness of the country’s higher education institutions.

The forum also featured a ’round table’ discussion with ministers, deputy ministers, and leaders of leading universities. Key topics included institutional performance indicators of higher education, employment outcomes, and sustainability in higher education.

Notably, several leading higher education institutions from Azerbaijan were represented at the forum by a delegation.
