Azerbaijan’s Education Ministry Calls for Caution on Reports About Russian-Language Education

Baku: Azerbaijan’s Education Ministry has issued a warning regarding recent reports circulating on social media and some media outlets about the suspension of Russian-language education in the country’s secondary schools and higher education institutions.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the reports, which were shared under the title of an “official notice,” have not been substantiated by any official decree or statement from the Ministry of Science and Education. The Ministry emphasized the importance of referencing only official sources when disseminating news related to state education policy.

The Ministry clarified that there has been no official information released concerning the suspension of Russian-language education, urging the public and media to exercise caution and verify the accuracy of such claims before sharing them.
