CHISINAU: A delegation from Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission has arrived in Chisinau, Moldova, to observe the constitutional referendum and presidential election set for October 20. The visit aims to enhance electoral cooperation between the two nations and ensure transparent electoral processes.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the delegation includes CEC Deputy Chairman Rovzat Gasimov and Rashid Yusifbayli, Head of the CEC Secretariat’s international relations department. The officials are scheduled to meet with Angelica Caraman, President of the Central Electoral Commission of Moldova, among other key figures. Their discussions will focus on expanding institutional cooperation and sharing experiences related to election management.
The Azerbaijani delegation will also review the preparations for the upcoming referendum and presidential election and will oversee the voting procedures at various polling stations. These activities are intended to promote fair and transparent electoral prac
tices in Moldova.
