Baku: Azerbaijan's exports to Trkiye amounted to over $1.82 billion during the period from January to April 2026, despite experiencing a 4.9% decline compared to the same timeframe in the previous year. This decline is equivalent to over $55 million in reduced export value.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, imports from Trkiye to Azerbaijan also saw a decrease during this period. The total value of goods imported from Trkiye was approximately $765 million, marking a 5.7% year-on-year decline, or $46.323 million less than the previous year.

The report highlights that these trade figures constituted 9.11% of Azerbaijan's total exports and 13.85% of its total imports during the specified period. The trade relationship between the two countries remains significant, although both exports and imports have shown a decline in comparison to the previous year.
