Sanaa:In the first eight months of 2026, Azerbaijan's exports to Turkmenistan reached $52.099 million, marking a 23 percent increase from the same period the previous year.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, this increase represents a growth of $9.755 million in goods exported to Turkmenistan. During this period, Azerbaijan imported $47.59 million worth of goods from Turkmenistan, experiencing a significant decrease of 60.7 percent, or $73.6 million, compared to the previous year.

Overall, Azerbaijan's exports from January to August 2026 totaled $21.815 billion, while imports amounted to $11.423 billion. The goods imported from Turkmenistan constituted 0.42% of Azerbaijan's total imports, while its exports made up 0.24% of the total exports.
