Baku:In January-August 2026, Azerbaijan's exports to the United Kingdom climbed significantly, reaching $3.481 billion. This marks a 14.5-fold increase, or an additional $3.240 billion, compared to the same period in the previous year.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the data from the State Customs Committee showed that while exports surged, imports from the UK saw a sharp decline. Azerbaijan imported $205 million worth of goods from the UK, representing a 70.3% decrease, or $484 million less than the previous year.

These trade figures reflect that exports to the UK made up 15.95% of Azerbaijan's total exports, while imports from the UK constituted 1.79% of the country's total imports. Overall, Azerbaijan's total exports during this period amounted to $21.815 billion, with total imports standing at $11.423 billion.
