Azerbaijan’s Exports to Uzbekistan Surge Over Two-Fold in Early 2026

Baku: Azerbaijan's exports to Uzbekistan more than doubled in value in the first seven months of 2026, reaching $79.507 million. This marks a 2.2-fold increase, or $44.130 million, compared to the same period last year, as reported by the State Customs Committee.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, during the January to July period, Azerbaijan imported $121.227 million worth of goods from Uzbekistan. This reflects a significant 48% decrease, or $112.31 million, compared to the previous year.

The report highlighted that Azerbaijan's exports to Uzbekistan accounted for 0.41 percent of the country's total exports. Meanwhile, imports from Uzbekistan represented 1.23 percent of Azerbaijan's total imports.
