Azerbaijan’s External Public Debt Experiences Significant Decrease

Baku: Azerbaijan's external public debt has seen a notable reduction, amounting to $4 billion 678.4 million as of May 1, 2026. This information was released by the State Statistical Committee, as reported by APA-Economics.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the country's external public debt has decreased by 7.8% compared to the same period last year. This decrease reflects Azerbaijan's ongoing efforts to manage and reduce its public debt burden effectively.
