Baku: Azerbaijan's external public debt as of May 1, 2026, stood at $4 billion 678.4 million, marking a significant reduction.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the State Statistical Committee reported that the country's external public debt decreased by 7.8% compared to the same period last year.
This decrease in external public debt reflects Azerbaijan's efforts to manage its financial obligations more effectively. The reduction could potentially enhance the country's fiscal stability and provide more room for economic development initiatives.
