Baku:Vehicle transportation via ferries in Azerbaijan has witnessed a significant increase of 12% in the first nine months of 2026. The Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company CJSC (ASCO) reported that 32,380 vehicles were ferried, compared to 28,847 vehicles during the same period last year.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, the total weight of vehicles transported by ferries amounted to 837,557 tons, marking a 15% increase from 725,966 tons recorded in the previous year.

In addition, the volume of transit vehicle transportation by ferries reached 776,744 tons, which is an 11% rise compared to the same timeframe last year.
