Shamakhi:The Khinisli nursery-kindergarten was inaugurated in the city of Shamakhi on October 26. The opening ceremony was attended by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, and Alena Aliyeva, who familiarized themselves with the facilities at the newly constructed educational center.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the preschool educational facility, built by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, has a capacity of 110 seats and includes separate wings with bedrooms for boys and girls. The facility also offers group rooms, computer rooms, medical rooms, music and gymnastics halls, and a cafeteria. It is fully equipped with necessary furniture and equipment, and visual aids are available in all rooms.

Additionally, gazebos and a playground with amusement rides have been installed to provide recreational activities for the children. The director of the nursery-kindergarten, Saida Zahidova, mentioned that the previous kindergarten building, constructed in 1969, was no longer suitable, necessitating the construction of a new facility. The new kindergarten will accommodate children in six groups as part of the educational process.

The Heydar Aliyev Foundation has been actively involved in the development of preschool educational institutions since 2014, contributing significantly to the education and development of children across Azerbaijan. The Foundation's program "Development of Preschool Educational Institutions" aims to meet modern educational requirements and includes the construction of new facilities in both the capital, Baku, and regions like Shamakhi. Several new nursery-kindergartens and schools have been built in Shamakhi in recent years as part of this initiative.
