LONDON — In a heartfelt post, First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva of Azerbaijan congratulated Para-taekwondo athlete Imamaddin Khalilov for his gold medal win at the Paris 2024 Summer Paralympic Games.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Aliyeva praised Khalilov’s performance and also acknowledged Turkish athlete Fatih Çelik, who won the silver medal. In her message, she expressed hope for future victories and blessings for both Azerbaijan and Turkey.
