Baku: Individuals who do not officially apologize to Azerbaijan are not removed from the 'blacklist', Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister said during a year-end press conference, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Foreign Minister highlighted the international practice of removing certain officials from a country's blacklist after they have apologized. This practice has been observed in Azerbaijan as well. However, the minister pointed out that over the past 30 years, nearly 2,000 individuals have been added to the blacklist for threatening the state or making unfriendly statements. The minister emphasized that those who do not officially apologize and admit their wrongdoing remain on the blacklist.
