Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry Confirms Stable Condition of Injured in Sea of Azov Drone Attack

Yeysk: Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry announced that the condition of Azerbaijani citizens injured in a drone attack on cargo vessels in the Sea of Azov is stable. Some of the injured are expected to be discharged from the hospital soon. Following the attack on June 5, embassy staff traveled to the area to provide consular assistance.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, staff members from the embassy's Consular Section are in Yeysk, offering necessary support to the injured and rescued citizens. The Russian Federation's authorities are actively conducting search and rescue operations and working to identify those who lost their lives.

Efforts are also underway to complete documentation for the rescued individuals, provide them with temporary travel documents, and arrange their return to Azerbaijan. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is closely monitoring the situation, coordinating with relevant institutions to ensure proper handling of the incident.
