Baku: In January-June of 2026, legal and natural entities of Azerbaijan carried out trade operations with their partners in 173 countries, the State Statistical Committee reported. During this period, Azerbaijan exported goods to 119 countries and imported goods from 155 countries.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the foreign trade turnover for the first six months of 2026 amounted to $26.54 billion. This resulted in a positive trade balance of $9.372 billion. The foreign trade turnover saw a 9.1 percent increase compared to the same period last year, although it decreased by 13.1 percent in real terms.
