Baku: In January-August of this year, Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover amounted to USD 33.23839 billion, the State Customs Committee said. This figure is 3.5% higher year-on-year.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, during this period, exports amounted to USD 21.81504 billion, while imports totaled USD 11.42335 billion. The foreign trade surplus during the reporting period amounted to USD 10.39169 billion, which increased 5.2 times compared to the same period last year.
