Baku: Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover witnessed a 3.8% rise year-on-year from January to October 2025, totaling 40 billion 862 million US dollars.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this growth was reported by the State Customs Committee.
Despite the overall increase in trade turnover, the country’s exports saw a decline of 4.9%, amounting to 21 billion 636.8 million US dollars. In contrast, imports surged by 15.6%, reaching 19 billion 225.2 million US dollars within the same period.
A positive balance of 2 billion 411.6 million dollars was still achieved in the foreign trade turnover for the reporting period. However, this figure represents a reduction by 2.5 times compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
