Baku: Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover experienced a significant increase in the first four months of 2025, amounting to 16.9176 billion US dollars. This marks a 24.1% rise compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the State Customs Committee reported a 7.5% increase in exports, reaching 8.7847 billion US dollars. Concurrently, imports saw a substantial rise of 48.8%, totaling 8.1329 billion US dollars. Despite a positive trade balance of 651.79 million US dollars being recorded, this figure is 4.2 times less than the same period last year.
