Azerbaijan’s Foreign Trade Turnover Surges Over 23% in Early 2025


Baku: Azerbaijan’s foreign trade turnover saw a notable increase of 23.2% in the first two months of 2025, reaching USD 8 billion 904.490 million.



According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this information was reported by APA-Economics, citing the State Customs Committee.



During this period, the country’s exports experienced a slight decrease of 0.3%, amounting to USD 5 billion 766.5 million. In contrast, imports surged by 69%, totaling USD 4 billion 138 million. Despite this increase in trade activity, the positive balance in foreign trade turnover was recorded at USD 628 million, which is 3.7 times less than the same period last year.
