Baku:Azerbaijan's economy experienced a 1.5% growth in GDP during the period from January to September 2026, amounting to 102 billion 48.2 million manats.
According to Azeri-Press news agency, the country's oil and gas GDP saw a decline of 1.2%, reaching 30 billion 326.5 million manats. Conversely, the non-oil and gas GDP witnessed a growth of 2.6%, rising to 71 billion 721.7 million manats.
This growth highlights a shift in the country's economic dynamics, with increased contributions from non-oil sectors despite a slight downturn in the oil and gas sector. The figures were reported by the State Statistical Committee, reflecting changes in Azerbaijan's economic landscape over the past year.
