Azerbaijan’s Humanitarian Aid to Ukraine Surpasses $45 Million

Kyiv: The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has announced that Azerbaijan's humanitarian aid to Ukraine has exceeded $45 million. This significant contribution has been crucial for Ukraine, especially in aiding the restoration of its energy resources during the winter months.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the assistance was organized by the Azerbaijani Ministry of Energy under the directives of President Ilham Aliyev. Elena Kondratyuk, the Vice Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, expressed her gratitude for Azerbaijan's timely and vital support. She highlighted that this is part of Azerbaijan's ongoing efforts to assist Ukraine since the onset of Russia's full-scale occupation. The aid includes support for recovery and reconstruction, marking a substantial commitment from Azerbaijan to aid Ukraine in its time of need.
