Azerbaijan’s Interior Minister Attends CIS Council Meeting in Tajikistan

Baku:Azerbaijan's Minister of Internal Affairs, Colonel General Vilayat Eyvazov, attended the latest meeting of the Council of the Internal Affairs Ministers of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member states.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the meeting, held on October 1, focused on discussing priority cooperation issues between the Ministries of Internal Affairs of the CIS member states. The participants also reviewed the implementation of interstate programs aimed at combating crime.

Additionally, the meeting addressed various other key areas of cooperation between the interior ministries of the CIS member states.
