Baku:Bilateral meetings were conducted during the CICA Media Forum, titled "Building Trust through Media in a Polarized World," with Ahmad Ismayilov, Chairman of the Media and Broadcasting Council of Azerbaijan, engaging with various delegations.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Ismayilov met with Mehmet Danis, President of Trkiye's Radio and Television Supreme Council; Wajiha Qamar, Pakistan's Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training; Kairat Sarybay, Secretary General of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia; and Kobuljon Akhmedov, Director of the Media Content Production Center under the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan.
The discussions highlighted the need for closer cooperation and the continuous exchange of experience among media institutions due to the rapidly changing communication trends in the modern information environment. The participants emphasized the significance of developing relations within the media sector and promoting joint projects in various formats.
Additionally, they exchanged views on maintaining trust in the global media landscape, enhancing media literacy, mitigating the impacts of disinformation, improving media content quality, and developing approaches tailored to the new challenges posed by digital platforms.
