Lachin: On September 27 at 12:00 PM, the cherished memory of our martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was honored with a one-minute silence in the Lachin district, APA reports. During the moment of silence, traffic came to a halt and vehicle horns were sounded. Residents of the district bowed their heads in deep respect for the souls of the fallen soldiers and officers.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this observance is in line with the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, dated December 2, 2020. September 27 has been declared Day of Remembrance in Azerbaijan. This day serves as a sign of respect for the soldiers and officers, as well as all martyrs who heroically fought and gave their lives for the territorial integrity of the country during the Patriotic War.
