Baku: The Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan has approved a supplementary agreement with the United Nations on organizational and financial matters for the 13th World Urban Forum (WUF13), which is set to take place in Baku in 2026.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the agreement, which was a significant step in the preparation for the forum, was signed in Geneva on January 15, 2026. The World Urban Forum is a major global event that addresses urbanization challenges. The approval of this agreement marks Azerbaijan's readiness to host the forum and collaborate with international partners on urban development issues.
