“During the mine-clearing operations in Tartar, Aghdam, Shusha, Khojavand, Fuzuli, Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan districts 49 anti-personnel and 20 anti-tank mines, as well as 120 unexploded ordnances (UXO) were found and neutralized from September 5 to 10,” Azerbaijan’s Mine Action Agency said in a statement.
“As a result, 457 hectares were cleared of mines and UXOs,” the agency added.
