Baku: The monetary base in Azerbaijan reached AZN 24.2 billion as of August 31. Since the start of the year, the monetary base experienced a growth of AZN 1.8 billion, reflecting a 7.9% increase.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) reported that in August alone, the monetary base saw an increase of approximately AZN 296 million, or 1.2%. On an annual basis, the monetary base rose by AZN 3.1 billion, marking a 14.8% increase.
