Baku: Azerbaijani table tennis player Nihad Mammadov is approaching a place in the Guinness World Records. He took on the challenge of breaking the world record for the longest-distance ball launch and successfully completed a 17-meter attempt under official supervision. According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Azerbaijan Table Tennis Federation has submitted Nihad Mammadov's result to the organization's headquarters. An official response is expected within 4 to 8 weeks. The current record of 16.70 meters is held by Turkey's Osman Grc, which Mammadov aims to surpass with his recent achievement.
