Azerbaijan’s Non-Oil and Gas Budget Revenues Surge by Over 700 Million Manats

Baku: Azerbaijan's non-oil and gas sector has shown a significant increase in budget revenues, reaching 20,302.7 million manats. This figure represents 51.9% of the total state budget revenues projected for 2025. The increase amounts to 702.4 million manats, or 3.6%, compared to 2024.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Ministry of Finance reported detailed figures for the distribution of these revenues. Tax authorities were responsible for 59.1% of the non-oil and gas sector revenues, amounting to 12,006.1 million manats. Customs authorities contributed 31.4%, equating to 6,369.9 million manats. Paid services from state-financed organizations accounted for 3.3% or 679.7 million manats. Additionally, other revenues contributed 5.9% or 1,200.8 million manats, while leasing state property provided 0.3% or 46.2 million manats.

In comparison to 2024, the revenues collected through tax authorities increased by 978.6 million manats, marking an 8.9% rise. Revenues from leasing state property and other sources saw an increase of 120.8 million manats or 10.7%. Lastly, revenues from paid services of organizations financed from the state budget rose by 131.8 million manats, reflecting a 24.1% increase.
