Baku: Azerbaijan exported 10.5 million tonnes of oil, including condensate, during the period from January to June this year. This information was reported by APA-Economics, citing the Ministry of Energy.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, 9.5 million tonnes of the exported oil originated from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) and Shah Deniz fields. Additionally, 0.7 million tonnes were exported by SOCAR, while 0.3 million tonnes came from the Absheron field.
The Ministry of Energy further disclosed that Azerbaijan's total oil production, including condensate, amounted to 13.3 million tonnes in the first half of the year. Of this production, 7.9 million tonnes were extracted from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field, 1.7 million tonnes from Shah Deniz, and 0.3 million tonnes from the Absheron field. SOCAR contributed to the production with 3.4 million tonnes of oil.
