Baku: Azerbaijan has successfully exported over 14 million tons of oil to 19 countries this year, with Italy emerging as the largest importer. In the period from January to July, Azerbaijan exported 8,431,427.82 tons of oil to Italy, valued at 4,424,208.27 thousand US dollars.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the Czech Republic secured the second spot in Azerbaijan's oil export rankings, importing 1,027,599.56 tons of oil worth 547,091.18 thousand dollars. Croatia followed closely, ranking third with imports totaling 827,707.93 tons of oil valued at 450,838.01 thousand dollars.

The report highlights key indicators of the reporting period, detailing the value of exported oil as recorded by customs authorities. Overall, Azerbaijan exported a total of 14,470,571.55 tons of oil, generating revenue of 7,660,230.09 thousand dollars from 19 countries. The list of importing countries includes Portugal, Romania, Germany, and Great Britain, among others.
