Azerbaijan’s Oil Product Exports Witness Significant Decline

Baku: Azerbaijan exported 160,385.87 tons of petroleum products valued at 71.93 million USD in the first four months of this year.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, these figures were calculated based on data from the State Customs Committee.

The report highlights a notable decrease in both the value and volume of petroleum products exported by Azerbaijan. The value fell by 39.3%, and the volume dropped by 10.9% when compared to the same period in 2023.

In contrast, last year Azerbaijan exported 537,628.46 tons of petroleum products worth 334.92 million USD. This represents a significant decline of 41.5% in value and 41.9% in volume during the reporting period compared to 2023 figures.
