Azerbaijan’s Petroleum Coke Exports Surge by 34.3% in January-July

Baku: In January-July 2026, Azerbaijan exported 151,100 tons of petroleum coke, marking an increase of 34.3% compared with the same period last year.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the total value of these exports rose significantly, increasing by 71.6% to reach $59.9 million. By comparison, during the same period in 2025, Azerbaijan exported 112,500 tons of petroleum coke, which was valued at $34.9 million.

The noticeable rise in both the volume and value of petroleum coke exports underscores the strategic importance of this commodity in Azerbaijan's export portfolio. The data reflects a robust growth trajectory, with significant implications for the country's trade dynamics and economic outlook.
